Technical Consultant

  1. Responsible for the technical support and consultancy for the products, solutions and services offered by the business unit. Our solutions offerings include middleware, database, virtualization, systems tools and utilities.
  2. Conducting R&D on emerging technologies and constantly updated with technological development and make contributions to the Company’s overall technological direction.
  3. Install, administer and maintain Oracle Databases, Advanced Database areas and additional areas like Business Intelligence, J2EE or Security curriculum footprint.
  4. Install, administer and maintain Oracle Fusion Middleware product range, Advanced Oracle Fusion Middleware areas includes cluster configurations & secure SSL configurations.
  5. Install, administer and maintain Oracle Virtual Machine product range. Also includes advanced configurations for Oracle VM Manager, OVM network, storage, template & backup.
  6. Explore, Install and configure advanced subjects such as Setup Web/Application Server, database, clustering & load-balancing, firewalls under UNIX/ Red Hat Linux/ Windows Server Family/ Solaris environment.
  7. Acquire an increasing knowledge on the various systems / applications that are used and provide support / consultation to customers on how to best utilize these systems / applications.
  8. Conducting installation, configuration, upgrade, administration and monitoring of software products.
  9. Support sales team in customer visit for product discussions.
  10. Conduct product presentation and demonstration.
  1. Degree or Professional Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 3-5 years working experience in Oracle Database administration experience including performance tuning and capacity management. Have good concept on RDBMS and DBA principles (Oracle). Knowledge in JAVA would be an advantage.
  3. Exposed to Operating systems such Oracle Enterprise Linux, Windows Server Family, Solaris & good command in Unix.
  4. Exposed to the Oracle Fusion Middleware product range namely Oracle Weblogic, Oracle HTTP Server, Oracle Forms & Reports, Oracle Internet Directory & Oracle Data Integrator.
  5. Possess good technical knowledge in any of the following: Shared/ SAN attached disk subsystems, SAN Fabric switch technology, tape subsystems, enterprise backup software.
  6. Good knowledge of troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  7. Able to work independently to meet project deadlines with minimum supervision.
  8. Good interpersonal and communication skills to deal with people from various technical and business backgrounds and at all levels.
  9. Must be proactive, team player and business-oriented.
  10. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills as well as a strong command of English language, both verbal and written.

Application Analyst / Developer

  1. Provides support to applications implemented at client sites. Fix program issues, debug program code, program development and implement customization features.
  2. Assist in the design of new/revised systems by studying existing systems, analyzing user requirements, and specifying new/enhanced system components, and writing/amending programs according to specifications.
  3. Take ownership and accountability for the deliverable in all phases of the development lifecycle.
  4. Conducting installation, configuration, upgrade, administration and monitoring of software products like Oracle Databases, Oracle Fusion Middleware product range, Oracle Virtual Machine product range and etc.
  5. R&D on emerging technologies and constantly updated with technological development.
  1. Degree or Professional Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
  2. Experience in Java application development / technical expertise.
  3. Knowledge in any programming language such as C#/C++ programming, Java, HTML5 and SQL.
  4. Experience with database technologies such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL or similar products; experience with database programming and a working knowledge of SQL or PL/SQL.
  5. Effective oral and written communication with strong analytical, problem solving, multitasking and project management skills are essential on the job.
  6. At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field.
